Lead Video Editor / Graphic Artist (News Group)
NET-TV, New York’s Catholic Station is looking for an experienced video editor to join our Currents News team. The lead editor will be in charge of all video that appears in the nightly newscast. In this role you will report to the Chief Production Manager and assist in perfecting a workflow for the station’s nightly newscast. You will be editing packages and vos, using existing templates to make graphics and create new templates as needed. You will establish video/editing standards for the department that producers and reporters will use when editing their own video. Candidates for this position must be detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, and react to multiple changes to the rundown throughout the day in a calm and timely fashion. You will also work with the executive producer of special projects on editing short form and long form pieces.
